Update from April

Sorry it has been a while since we posted new pictures. Here's an update of what's been going on.

Easter~
We dyed easter eggs and Dylon was more interested in eating the eggs and throwing them than dying them.

Yummy chocolate from the Easter Bunny!

New basketball from Papaw! Thank you!

Racing Papaw with my new toys!

Bubbles from Grandma and Grandpa - Dylon loves bubbles!

Since JD's birthday was on Easter, we went out a few days later to celebrate and Dylon had his first corn dog. It was pretty funny to watch him try to eat it.

Mackenzie and Dylon - two faces of trouble

Dylon dumped the blocks out of his wagon and needed to go for a ride

He likes to put is plate or bowl on his head when he's done eating. He just finished a bowl of strawberries

Shootin' Hoops

Dylon loves basketball! He plays with his hoop from Grandma and Grandpa all the time. He even shoots at it from a ways away. Daddy says he's got great form. If there is a game on the TV he'll stop and stare at it, sometimes he climbs in his chair and watches for a while.

Mowing

Well the weather warmed up and it was about that time for the yard to it's spring trim. Dylon is just as big a helper with the outside choirs as he is with the inside one's. Here are some pics of him helping Dad get the job done.

Sword Fighting Skills

Dylon has developed some wonderful sword fighting skills. Here are some pictures of him and Daddy showing off their talents. They even showed them off to the ladies at Lowe's in the paint department. They gave Dylon and JD each a stir stick and in no time everyone was laughing, if only I had the camera with me!

We have such a big helper on our hands. He loves to do dishes and the vacuum cleaner too!

Dylon's First Birthday

Dylon found it more fun to play in his birthday cake than to eat it! After he figured out that it tastes pretty good he went to town. Yum! Yum!

Dylon's First Christmas

After being told for several weeks not to touch the Christmas presents, Dylon was a little apprehensive to open his presents or even rip the paper off of them. After the first couple, he really got into it and was having a great time.

Yup, He's now walking!

Dylon was just as happy opening his gifts as he was climbing all over them!

Getting our Christmas Tree

Again this year, we bought a permit to cut our own Christmas tree in the national forest. We bundled Dylon up so he looked like a marshmellow and JD carried him in the backpack carrier. Dylon had a great time looking around we ended up with the perfect tree. Josh, Kathy, James, and Sam all went too!

Dylon wasn't too sure about the snow!

Time to relax a little after hauling our trees back to our trucks!

The Stand Off

I'm really not sure who won. We'll just call it a tie. (You'll need sound for this one)
